Someone mentioned exactly the same thing about these receivers.
Good back up is well-nigh the only reason any fta box will practise bell/dish right now.
Looks similar this one "auto-updates" over the net. Only this is subscription based,
and if you lot are heading that route, only call bong.
NFusion Nova, the easiest FTA Receiver on the market. NFusion Nova makes FTA unproblematic. NFusion Nova Digital Costless to Air reciever update themselves automatically by connecting wireless to your internet. Cease wasting time downloading files and moving your FTA Receiver around to get information technology working once more.

Re: good for Nfusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Nfusion is up and working with IKS. It stands 4 Net Key Sharing, U know when U hit up a site for keys when autoroll is down and accept to put them in manually??? Well what nfusion does is the box is hooked to the Internet and downloades the keys from a key server and puts them in iv U. Its like another kind of autoroll that is not bin dependant. They release stand alone bins for the nfusion that don't require U be hooked upwardly to the net and work like pretty much whatever other STB. I too was worried well-nigh the IKS and my provider logging information technology or seeing activity on a unlike port. There are several means to combat this from IP masquerading to proxy servers but my solution is the best. If U happen to exist in range of "sombody's" wireless network and have a wireless adapter for your nfusion then U wont accept to worry I don't really disregard this but due to my paranoia I had no pick. ISP's practice look at whats going on especially if its on a odd port #, and they can report U to the authorities or just ban/kick U from their service. Adelphia caught me using bittorrent once casue of the odd port it was on. After I promised I was a proficient boy and did not know what happened they unlocked my business relationship and I setup a proxy server on my primary server before it even gets to router. I love my nfusion nova, but if your paranoid I would steer clear of information technology. Using somebodies wireless in my apt edifice is the merely way I stay 100% safe when using IKS. It does not take much bandwidth at all so your not really hurting their speed at all and unless they are smart they volition never run across it. I am gonna start working with plastic since its more of a challenge and stays upwards with good blockers when fta is downwards. The emulators are a proficient option too but even so got a lot to larn on those likewise. This ECM has been one of the worst in a while merely that's what makes it testing guys.

I see that Spacestar and sonysat are 2nd again with a release of a set, besides nfusion. That's if nfusion even went down. I'chiliad trying to discover a canadian dealer worthy of mention for these? Not trying to hijack your thread alkapone, but these are more than traditionally updated through a computer. I checked and I don't have any neighbours without secure wireless networks for the nfusion.

Hmm.. If y'all are using someone'south wireless and the satellite police comes looking for the culprit, they will presently notice out that the person getting their net hijacked is not the culprit.
It would not take them long to find the culprit either. Wireless has a limited range of 300 ft in open up space, so they but have to expect for a satellite dish within 100 metres.
You remember it volition take long for them to find yous?

1. Nfusion I believe uses carte du jour sharing = a big no no
two. Emunation (PC DVB carte decrypter) was out before it all, I was watching tv all weekend with my htpc (emunation + dvbdream + skystar ii+ windows xp!)
Although Card sharing is what's going to happen soon if bell and dish outset hitting hard its non safe. Apparently information technology was used last yr and at that place were problems.

The 6000 hasn't.

lol, what a dork... typical person knowing admittedly zilch about what they're talking near and passing off other peoples complaints and previously read comments every bit his own.
Yes, EmuNation had the beginning standalone fix, and FTA companies ahve been ripping off the lawmaking and so its no longer being released as source right away.. read the thread on DVBN. nfusion was upwards even faster using the carte share.
But to say "carte du jour sharing" is a big no-no and is dangerous is a crock of $striking. Become look at anywhere in Europe and you will see Card Sharing has been the norm for a long long time.
The argument of "ohh, well, it uses the internet and you can be tracked" is a full fallacy because last night on IRC we analyzed the packets from the nFusion through WireShark.. they are heavily encrypted UDP packets running as background noise on PORT 80, pregnant it blends in with everything else you lot do on port80.. also, the IP it connects to is a south korean IP, so explain to me how B3V or DN has any jurisdiction or capability of getting whatever blazon of information from the box? Likewise tell me how this is any different from coming and exposing your IP on a public IRC channel, or from downloading files off of an FTA forum hosted in N America? *cough* totalfta *cough*
I've had the box for over 4 months now and information technology's been nothing just keen to me. But past all means, keep slamming brands you know absolutely nil about..
PS: To the OP, if you want some bodily get-go-hand opinions from people that OWN the automobile, come check out the IRC aqueduct in my signatures link.. Information technology'south a big FTA room of 400+ and quite a few new nfusion owners are in there. I bought mine at transatelectronics.com , a nice store in Etobicoke run past some chinese dudes.

don't be to sure of that. They don't need to see what your doing they just demand the server to prove your intent.P2p has been using encryption for quite awhile because it disguises your info from internet access provider. the thing is that if u said democratic people's republic of korea or whatsoever land on usa sh1t list that would buy some time.If the server was ram simply no logging your safer.if u used a multi proxy safest. But if their is fifty-fifty a moffat used on whatsoever equiptment or out sourced labour from southward korea. It takes a lobbyist to trade minister and a call to that countries trade minisiter who doesn't want to lose the business to shut it down and raid the server. The only reason nfusion is running is cause its the new child on the block.Once numbers go upwards it will go down hard and could come back to haunt you like information technology did anyone who bought a card or developer from a busted site.

Neosat sucks - a friend of mine got it just information technology'due south down a lot while I enjoy my nFusion to the fullest extent, hence Neosat has non yet perfected IKS sadly
I personally own 2 nFusion (got em for 170 a piece), did a grouping purchase with some friends and information technology's been upward and running since Christmas. Any major downtime you ask? Nope, maybe ii-3 mins max, just one or two incident it was downward for lil over an 60 minutes while they were updating the servers with better equipment to handle all the new nFusions people are getting.
Also, no indicate in investing in any other FTA boxes right now other than an IKS box like nFusion, since with update of Nagra3 set to accept identify afterward on this year, anyone who knows their FTA will tell you that the best bet is IKS receivers will be the get-go to be up and running (and trust me, Nagra3 has been croaky and nFusion team/admin has ensured us that nFusion volition live regardless of what DN/BEV throws out)
